These crispy cauliflower bites are a great low-calorie snack. They could also be eaten as a side dish or a starter. The are a great way to increase your vegetable intake. The recipe is easy and doesn’t require any special equipment.

Crispy Cauliflower Bites

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • 24 cup muffin tin Non-stick
  • Sharpe knife
  • Chopping board
  • Large spoon
  • Hand wisk Optional: You could also use a fork
  • Grater Optional: you could also use a knife

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small Cauliflower around 400g
  • 100g Plain flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 100 g Milk
  • 20 g Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Turn on the oven to 180C (fan).
  • Wash cauliflower head and cut into very small pieces and set aside.
  • Break the egg in the large bowl and whisk. Add the flour, milk, and salt and whisk into a batter.
  • Add the chopped cauliflower into the batter and mix well until the cauliflower is well coated.
  • Grate the cheese. If you don't have a grater you can cut your cheese into 24 small pieces.
  • Add the cauliflower batter into the muffin tin. Top each muffin with a small amount of cheese.
  • Place in the oven for 35 minutes.
